Hello Everyone,
well i just wanted to say hello as i am new to being a pit bull owner, well atleast soon to be i am adopting from teh local humane society and i hope to be able to provide a good home for my new doggy. I have on e question though what would be a large enough space for my new doggy to go to sleep at night, i have thought about buidling a 6 ft by 6 ft area in the basement or if i should just go ahead and get a kennel

welcome first off. and as far as the area for your dog.... there are a lot of different opinions on here. personally, our dog has a big fence that gives him room to play on our tile floor in the bathroom, good size area for a pit bull is good, they become very active. i cover the floor with fleece blankets because it has been chilly here and pups are able to get nemonia (sorry about the spelling) and im a protective mommy. i also put his kennel in there but soon replaced it with his new bed pillow. just make sure whatever you give him as a sleeping place is comfortable for him/her and for you. you must be comfortable with where he/she is. well anyother ?s feel free to ask. and good luck hope to see some pics of the puppy when you get it!
