Hi! I'm new!

Hello everyone! My name is Danielle and I live on a funny farm in Iowa with 13 dogs of varying ages and breeds. They are all spayed/neutered ('cept for my young puppy) and are in the house at night, and as much as they want to be during the day. I have some dogs who prefer to be outside and play all day, and others who prefer snoozing on the couches.

I worked at an animal shelter and have managed to fail fostering, many, many times! :oops:

I now just volunteer for them and stay home and take care of my babies.

Their names, ages, and breeds (best guesses anyway) are:

Puppy - 16+ year old rat terrier mix
Goose - 7 year old Golden Retriever
Becky - 6-8 year old Australian Cattle Dog
Willy - 3 year old Border Collie/JRT mix
Bruno - 2 year old sharpei/husky mix
Gracie - 2 year old border collie mix?
Stewie - 2 year old JRT
Lizzie - 2 year old JRT
Pawlie - 1 year old pit mix?
Joey - 1 year old German Shepherd mix
Dudley - 9 month old black lab
Junior - 9 month old golden/lab mix
Bentley - 15 week old boxer/lab mix

I'm posting a picture of Pawlie because people think he is a pit mix, some say shar-pei, but I just don't know for sure. I am not good at identifying breeds. No matter what he is, we love him.

I joined this forum as I love all dogs and am wanting to learn more about Breed Specific Legislation and someone recommended this forum.

Cute dog! He does have Sharpei like ears, but I'm betting there's some pit bull in there. He'd probably get called a pit bull if you were in an area with BSL. :roll:
