I am sundaygirl, I live in Pittsburgh (home of the Steelers
), I am married and have one lovely pit bull named Luther. Luther came to live with us February 2004. He was a stray who was taken in by a friend of a friend of a friend who has a 10 yr old pit bull but couldn't keep both in his tiny apartment. We had wanted a dog for a while but were waiting for just the right time. . .but then we met Mr. Sweetheart and couldn't stand the thought of him going to a shelter. So, now we have a happy family of three. We call the older pit bull that Luther's rescuer has his big brother and try to get the dogs together frequently for play dates. 
I have learned *so* much from this forum in the past 9 or 10 months, which is why I keep hanging around (that and the adorable pics!). We think Luther is around 2 or 3 but because we don't know for sure, we celebrate his anniversary - that is, the day he came to live with us! We adore him and try every day to make his life with us better than it was before (we don't know what it was like before but I can't imagine it was better than what he has now!)
Luther loves wrestling with other dogs, his 'Bad Cuz', bully sticks, long walks, and sleeping under the electric blanket. He hates rain, fruits, and vegetables.
