Hes got the bandage on his leg, because he was having seizures, and we had to take him in for a ton of tests, and a spinal tap(so his head is shaved too) But hes back to being a normal playful puppy again.

Yea, they eventually found out that he had a hemorrhage on his spine that was causing the seizures. Fortunately his body healed itself, and he will be coming off the medication to stop the seizures in about 2 weeks. It was very scary to see him having them, fortunately I was able to afford the $3500 of tests to find out was wrong, I defiantly couldn’t get rid of him, he is already part of the family :)

It is wonderful that he is recovering! I would be so scared if that happened to Lola.

I hope he continues to progress. :)

Welcome to the board!!! Both dogs are beautiful. I'm so sorry to hear about the seizures. You're very lucky to have found the cause and hopefully be over the seizures... My Toda, the brindle in my avatar, has to be on Phenobarbitol for the rest of his life. If we miss even one dose, he'll have one within hours of the time he should have had the pill...

Thank you for warm reception!

Boo, I'm sorry to here about Toda, its scary to when they have them, and you know there is really nothing you can do but try to make them comfortable. Koal has 2 weeks left on Phenobarbitol then we have to start the long process of slowly taking him off the drug.
