I agree it is weird to see your dog in the rescue section. Khan has a thread in the rescue section also!

Magnus was granted an extension on life 1,444 days ago...but unfortunately we found out this morning that he has cancer. No real details until we speak with the vet more, but just wanted everyone to know that homeless pit bulls most definitely deserve a second chance at life and often prove to be the best dogs you will ever encounter. These rescues often work out better than you could ever imagine. Not sure how the coming weeks or months will play out, but this rescue was honestly the best dog related decision I have ever made...this ol' boy will forever have a big place in my heart and will forever be one of the few great dogs I compare all other dogs to.

I am so sorry to hear that Magnus has cancer. My thoughts are with you, your family, Magnus and all his friends. I hope you can have many more happy moments with him.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I don't recognize Magnus, but after reading this thread and the thread with the pictures I remember the story about your other dog finding the kittens.

I hope there is a treatment for Magnus that will work and keep everyone in the family happy. :hug:

Pleased to announce that although the tumor was malignant it is not likely to spread. Magnus will be going under the knife again Tuesday to verify they got it all, but this is definitely excellent news. Thanks everyone!
