What makes your Pit bark the most ?

For Maxx, it would have to be the normal cat. Other dogs are a close 2nd but there is a difference, I think.

My pup doesn`t bark almost at all.. Maybe once in a week :roll: .. And even then she barks alone when there is nothing (that i can see or hear) to bark at. lol

Two of my dogs will stand face to face and bark at each other. I think it is some sort of competition.

Anything that makes noise at night, that is below the audible range for humans. Makes it really creepy. Also seeing anyone other than me or the SO outside of their fence.

jennKMB ...I'll have to agree with you on that one. Maxx used to
be tied up in the back yard but now he's in a fence and anything that
goes bump in the night cranks his motor. For some odd reason, people
walk the streets around my house all hours of the night ... but not in my
yard or near my family.

I know what you mean, nessa...... This one time I was watching The Ring for the first time,alone, and at a really scary moment, the dvd messed up and I got a screen full of fuzz(not good for the ring!!) and then the dogs started going nuts. You can say i slept close to the Glock that night!
What makes my dogs bark the most.....
'Cane: When Billy and i are paying attention to each other-and not him, anytime we are at a large gathering with springpoles, or weight pulls, and 'Cane is not working-he makes himself hoarse(not to mention that it gets embarrassing).

Marz has a thing for plastic skulls. If you hold it up and say in a deep voice "THE WAND OF DEATH", she barks at it like a crazy thing!

My Rusty barks also barks at the doorbell/knock and thinks that go bump in the night....this is esp. hard as he sleeps in the room with my girlfriend and I......Isis my female barks just to bark. As soon as i come home she wants to give me kisses and play, then as soon as i start to walk she is right under my legs barking, I kinda think it is to try and make rusty come and play with her. The reason I say this is as soon as this happens they are both off running through the house from and after eachothere....they are just to funny. :run:
