She's really running out of time. She almost got pulled for euth today, but I shuffled some dogs around and managed to find some space - I can't be guaranteed that will happen again. She's the sweetest, sweetest thing, and we all love her very much, but her long-term medical needs are out of our shelter's scope. She would need to see a vet to get an official thyroid diagnosis, and then likely be on meds for the rest of her life. Now, thyroid medication is NOT expensive, so once she's diagnosed, it's not a terrible thing. But it is beyond what my shelter can do. I've cried for her once today, and told them when it comes her time, I will take her for a nice walk beforehand so her last minutes are outside fun, not in a noisy kennel. Please don't make that happen!
