Just heard back from boxer rescue... they cannot take him for the same reasons we can no longer adopt him out.

O man, that is sucky. I Hope something pulls through for him!
Re: Tripod Boxer!!
Oh no
Have you gotten him on rescue lists networking around?
And his profile says' Mister should not be in a home without cats.'. I think it should be 'Mister should not be in a home with cats'.
If I wasn't so darn far away and didn't have a cat....

Aww this breaks my heart. I'm going to bump his topic at the tripawd forum and send out another plea.
Re: Tripod Boxer!!
Another foster home based rescue should be contacting you today. The folks at tripawds are really rooting for this guy and have posted him on their facebook and are contacting rescues for you. I think you spoke with leslie before...she has contacted a rescue she knows personally and they are going to see if they can get Mister out of there and into a foster home. I'm not sure if his issues will cause a problem, but it's worth having a chat anyways!

Re: Tripod Boxer!!
So apparently a friend of a client lost their boxer and were looking for a new one. He had no known prospects at our 3pm staff meeting yesterday, but was adopted out last night to a family with a fenced yard, no cats, no other dog, and no kids...
Seriously out of the blue... SOMEBODY was looking out for our mister man! Now just cross your fingers he blossoms into the fabulous dog we all know he is once he's back in a home environment.
