Are you mad that you don't "also have a unicorn out back" like the shelter bear in the video?
I laughed out loud at that part!!!

I laughed, but I also got really, really sad.

They need to do a follow up in six months with that same "person" trying to adopt another animal and explaining that while they gave their last pet up because they were moving, they're in a new place now and want a new pet.

I had to go back and make sure that's what she said!
Re: Shelter Humor? Shelter Reality!
A friend of mine is a nurse and her sister is a heart doctor. They just showed me a video yesterday with these same two characters about a dead person. I laughed so hard at that one.
This one on the otherhand, I just couldn't laugh. Well, not until the lady started calling him names. I hate people! This is all too common at my shelter. I'm tired of it but I know it will never end.

Re: Shelter Humor? Shelter Reality!
The saddest part about these videos is that this is SO TRUE. I had some jerk who lived a rental up from me two years ago got a baby beagle - it was so tiny. Couldn't have been more than 4-5 weeks and then it disappeared. When I asked him about it he said he got rid of it because he couldn't house break it. It kept pooping and peeing on the floor. It couldn't have been more than a few weeks a month at most that he had it.
