Pretty blue brindle girl - IN

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Pretty blue brindle girl - IN

Postby Zagari » Tue Jan 25, 2011 8:41 pm

Meet Alice!

Alice is a stunning, little blue brindle and white pit bull. She is tiny and compact! There's hardly an ounce of fat on this sweetie! She is estimated to be about a year old. Alice was found as a stray but who ever had her before sure took good care of her. Alice is nearly pit bull perfection! She's awesome with all people and she's always ready to go, go, go! And in general, she isn't that vocal. Well, unless she wants you to play or feed her. Alice thinks that she is a lap dog. She's always trying her best to get into your lap to give you slobbery dog kisses. She really doesn't care what you do to her, just as long as you're giving her attention. Alice would do well in a home that knows the pit bull breed and their tendencies. She's a very active dog and would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. She's going to need daily exercise and enrichment. Please do your research about the breed before inquiring about Miss Alice. It would be best for her and for her adoptive family.
*I copied this from her PF page cause I was too lazy to write out a new bio.

I have lots more "blooper" pics in case someone wants to see them.

Miss Alice is still at the shelter. We've recently found out that she is a bit fearful when you have something in your hand. She acts likes she's been hit before. She's super smart. She can open almost any outside gate or inside door. She hates cats and is very dominant with other dogs. She's a bit mouthy and pulls on the leash. I'm working with both issues but it isn't something I can do daily. It can be really hectic around the shelter.

Alice has a hold on her. She's getting spayed tomorrow and going home Saturday, hopefully. I'm not to hip on the guys that got her but they seem decent. Said they took their old dog for 16 mile walks all the time. We'll see...

She went home on Tuesday. So far, so good. We'll call in a month to do our post adoption check up. :)
