Is Spindletop it? Hard to believe in such huge state there is just one rescue.

Spindletop used to have Houston and Austin but I think Austin went away. Chako used to be in Texas? but now CA?
If you look at the Rescue list on PBRC, there are a lot

Love-A-Bull is in Austin. There are also smaller rescues in smaller cities, like Saving Grace in Lubbock.

Spindletop is in Willis now, just 45 minutes north of Houston, but to the rest of the country that still means Houston.
And like Freezingbear said, Love A Bull. There is also Treat 'Em Right in Houston. They do all bully breeds, but mainly Pit Bulls since that's what is most popular in our shelters. Um, there's also Ethical Bull Breed Rescue, I think they are in North Texas.

Check www.pbrc.net they usually list APBT friendly rescues by state.

Neither I was asking for a friend who was looking at making rescue contacts in TX for possible future collaborations.
