Apollo's Bark and Hold

Postby MissKitty » Wed Mar 02, 2011 9:52 pm

After finding out more information on laser pointers I have been limiting using it, but it was raining today so I did some indoor Schutzhund work and found that Apollo has a bark and hold for the laser!

I think he is so cute (and not at all intimidating) in his bark and hold, just look at those ears!

Now I know why the decoy cracks up when Apollo goes into a bark and hold lol

That pounce at the pointer towards the camera is totally awesome :)
And of course, the ears are a riot, lol.

He's got some good rhythm and enthusiasm going there and I was waiting for him to fly away with those awesome ears lol

I especially enjoy watching dogs who understand, clearly, their system of reinforcement and who enjoy it. He is working for his chasey time and does it with gusto. Really nice work!

Ah lordy! those are the best ears! :inlove:

I must say the attention deaf dogs give is just stellar. I've enjoyed working with every one I've encountered, they've taught me so much :))

He is really improving, I am so proud of him!
We are still working on him going straight into a rhythmic bark and getting in closer to the person, he is picking it up really well.
And every time I see his ears I still lol

I LOVE deaf dogs, they really are a joy to work with. And they are not distracted by noise!

Appollo is so handsome, those ears are awesome though lol!!!

I bet Grendel would do the same bounce if he was to do that though, I swear that dog has springs in his legs!
