Friend needs to re-home her lab\pit mix asap due to ban

My friend is desperately seeking a home for her 1 year old lab/pit mix. The cops showed up at her house today and told her they will be back to take him and euth him. She didn't know they were banned there. So she's desperately seeking a home for him. She doesn't want to send him to the pound as it is a sure death sentence for him. Good with other dogs, and lives with children. Good in the house and housebroken. Please let me know if you know someone who can take him in or somewhere he can go where he's safe. Alot of places wont accept a DNA test as "proof" of breed.

She's in Wisconsin. They're just doing away with anything bully and it's sickening slowly one town by one town.

He found a home. She was informed of the ban before but still got this puppy anyways. I found that out recently. I'm glad he found a home and won't be euthanized!

Big blocky head isn't proof of being part Pit. Show Labs have big blocky heads. Innocent until proven guilty. They're accusing these people of breaking the law by having a dog they claim in a Pit Bull mix, but don't they have to prove it?

I'm sure she can thank her neighbors for calling in on her along with her own lack of responsibility by getting the dog anyway. If BSL happening town by town then whoever has him now better start familiarizing themselves with the law so they can fight to keep him.

I guess this is too late, but in the future I wouldn't let the police in the house or yard to examine your dog unless they have a warrant.
