Well Mischief is back. After escape number five and having to chase him almost three miles to catch him I'm not a happy camper.
Mischief is now tired as hell and relaxing in the crate in my living room. The people who adopted him didn't even bother to go outside and see where he went. So yet AGAIN mischief is available.

They actually had the nerve to ask if I would give him back. The girl who came over to my house said he wouldn't get loose if the man of the house was home, he got out at least three times yesterday while the man of the house was at home
He got loose just after noonish and they didn't even inquire about him until nearly 5pm.
I mean hell we both damn near got hit by cars! I'm still pretty well pissed off about the whole thing. We were sitting on my porch when he got loose, whomever was watching the kids told them to go play outside and they went and opened the gate to the yard. First off who the hell tells little guys, think maybe 3 and 5, to go play outside by themselves?!
Grrr.
Jake's even mad and he's not one to get emotionally involved with our fosters. I guess right now I'm still a little too angry tothink straight about this.

Bummer! Poor Mischief. He is such a good boy, he deserves a home of his own.
I hate dealing with asshats. This reminds me of the time I let those people in Pueblo take Lydia on a trail period and she escaped their yard (after I told them not to leave her outside unsupervised) and they wouldn't even look at the shelter for her. Here I am 3hrs away at work frantically calling AC and the paper and every person I knew in Pueblo, and the people were like "I'm sure she'll be fine." When they finally did go to the shelter the people there yelled at them too (since I had been bugging them for 48hrs). I'm so glad we got her back, but the people didn't even realize she had been hit by a car and skunked. I saw them again one time, and it was all I could do not to punch them.
I've got a crazy day, but tomorrow I'll get all of his stuff up and link to it here.
hope you feel better.

I remember the Lydia mess! Take your time
Mischief isn't going anyplace for a while. In Fact he's going to be inside except to pee for a week or two so they don't try to come grab him or something.
I'm pretty mad at him too, though it's not his fault he learned that coming back when loose wasn't a good thing, he came right up to us looked at us like we were nuts for asking him to come here and bolted. Every half a block or so he would stop to make sure we were still behind him and just trot off, if we sped up he would too. I think I'm going to dig up one of my long lines and take him up to that field a couple times a day to work on recall, I thought we had him doing better with that but apparently I was wrong

He's not back and I haven't gotten a call about how damn rotten he is
I think this one might stick, he'll be worn out daily by three little boys and a little girl who have all been dying to have a doggy for a long time

Well hell. I woke up this morning to my dogs going ballistic and Loki standing on my chest barking out the bedroom window.
Mischief was in the alley, sans collar, fence fighting with my tattoo artist's Pit Bull, well Mischief was trying to play, mr bully not so much.
Why did he have to come back again!? I thought for sure these people would keep him for good. They haven't contacted me either, I swear to god if this is how it's going to be I'm just going to give up, I mean come on, he has a collar for a damn reason!! He's in the crate in the living room again, I don't think I'm even going to try to contact them about his things, I'll just buy him a new collar and call it good.
