Will be 3 years old on July 15th, has lived with me nearly 2 1/2 years.
English Pointer mixed with Boxer or possibly American Bulldog.
House trained, crate trained, leash trained, rides great inside a car/truck.
Sit, stay, lie down, off (voice, hand, some whistle training).
Current on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative.
Fostered through Lexee's Legacy, adoption fee is $165 which I will help out or pay for approved adopter, fenced yard is required.
He comes with a 48" folding wire crate w/ double doors, his bed, leashes, collars, toys & food.
Has been socialized with several breeds & sizes of dogs, ideal with those his own size, protective of humans around dogs larger than him (i.e., Great Dane).
Easy to bathe & groom yourself, also does great at a professional groomers.
No issues at vets office, taking him in the pet store, etc.
Enjoys humans of all ages, men, women, children - though VERY energetic & might be a bit rough for small children.
No behavioral issues, incredibly loving, thinks he's a lap dog, used to being on furniture & sleeping in bed w/ humans - though very well behaved in his crate.
Loves to play w/ canine brothers, toys, bones, really enjoys retrieving, points naturally & has a soft mouth if you like to hunt.
Has been around horses, may chase cats, has caught squirrels & rabbits.
Very athletic, needs a daily walk, great running partner if you enjoy the outdoors.
Easy to train, would be great agility dog, likes kiddie pools but hasn't been in a swimming pool or lake.
Protective of humans whether they belong to him or not, but not aggressive or vicious.
