Hello everyone. I'm new here. I love pit bulls. I currently have no pets but am looking to add a pit bull to my family. I'm going to add a pit bull that's in desperate need of a home. I look forward to learning more about the breed and reading about other people's pitties as well.

I've heard about the ban in Ontario. Is there a way I can help??? Money wise or dog wise??

If you're in any situation to adopt/foster you can help and even if you can't you can donate money to the organizations mentioned in General section to help the Ontario pit bulls. After the ban passed, rescuers have 90 to get the Ontario dogs either (1) in a rescue out of Ontario, (2) into foster homes, or (3) adopted. After the 90 days, all pit bulls in shelters will be euthanized or sold for research. I would look in threads in General if you want to donate money or look in the Rescue section if you can adopt/foster.

Sounds good. I'll post a topic in rescue and see if I can help in one way or another. I don't want to see pits die because of a stupid ban.
