Dallas Area Members - Help me save this dog! (non PB)

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Worst case scenario and she ends up on the list, will you go in and adopt her?

can you pull her and keep trying once she is safe in your home? I have been in your shoes and boarded dogs in an emergency in the past

I plan to go get her if there are no other options. I just had another rescue email me back and said they can't take her, but can advertise her on their website if I foster her. I've never done anything like that before, mostly because my dog is a whack-a-doodle when it comes to predictability of his behavior.

I guess if it comes down to that, I'll have to ask for some more advice from you guys!

Dang, I'm surprised you're having such a hard time with this. Although I'm sure these places are at capacity. :( Fostering her until someone adopts her could be a good option if no shelter/rescue will take her in.

Keep us updated. She's cute and from what you said seems like such a darling, I doubt she'd have a hard time finding a home.

Now I'm getting emails back from all the rescues telling me she was adopted. That shelter must hate me right now for all these people calling about one dog!

I'm willing to bet they're happy to receive the calls, knowing people care and want to help.

I'm so happy the pup was adopted!
