Favorite Names that are NOT over used!

Postby Amie » Thu Sep 08, 2011 10:32 am

Gender Neutral names in particular, but cute names in general? How 'bout we help each other out with some great name ideas!

I had a pair of dogs I named Pickles and Chips. I named my own kittens Tango and Cash. I like these because they work great in a pair, but stand alone too (so it's not like Wishy and Washy that don't make sense separately.)

We have a lot of rain right now, and just named one dog whose gender we didn't know "Puddles" and another tiny male "Thor".

Whatcha got?

Not necessarily cute names, but some from my list I've written down.

Ryuk
Lucian
Lucius
Sylvannas
Lelouch
Dante
Marrok
Lawliet (still trying to figure out the proper pronunciation... apparently suppose to be French. So... Lawl-ee-eh?)

I think I'm forgetting some....

:) Resi-haven't met another yet.
Trooper I like, but I've met/heard of a few others.

I like Belvedere. It's really sad why I like it. The dog we found in the middle of the road (that died) was by a street with this name. Almost every time I drive by it I think of her. I want to change the feeling it makes me have-I want to associate it with good things/feelings.

My parents dog's name is Shambles.

I have a foster now named Lorenzo.

My next male dog will be Solider. "Sit, Soldier!" "Don't poop in the neighbours yard, Soldier!"

I also like Askem. "What's your dog's name?" "Askem."

Humphrey could've been named "Lugnut." If I get another dopey, beefy male dog, I think I know what his name will be lol

I also had a client with a small fluffy dog they named Nibbler. Sweetest dog ever.

Although I already have this name set for a bearded dragon, I like the name Conkling. I'd never heard until I met my boyfriend. It was his great grandfather's name.

So, in December probably, I'll have Conk the bearded dragon. Lol

In sticking with the western theme (Pinkerton), my next dogs, though quite a way down the line, I'm thinking will be named Rio and Rodeo.

I really like the name Kovu or Fendi for a dog(particularly a Bullmastiff ;) ). I have only ever met one dog named Fendi(which was at the Humane Society) and never met a dog named Kovu.
