URGENT in HOUSTON, TX-Angelina, a Staffy

Met this little mama 2 days ago at the Alvin Animal Shelter. It is a city shelter and they don't usually adopt out pit bulls. They are euthanized on inpound day. This girl came in a month ago and was starved, every bone showing. They fell in love with her because she is the sweetest thing ever. They're trying to give her a chance and save her but she's now on the list to go as soon as new dogs come in. She needs to be pulled by a rescue or fostered asap. She could be euth'd any day now. She is a tiny, petite little girl, can't be more than 30 lbs full grown. She's been dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm. If any 501 rescue has room to get her out of there, please let me know. She's great with other dogs, cats and people. She truly is a little angel.

Thanks for sending good vibes her way. I really hope she can get out of there. She covered my face in sweet Staffy kisses and is so much fun to be around.

Found out today she is approx 1-2 yrs old so she is still very young and could have a lot of happy years left in her if someone can give her a chance. I wish with all my heart that we could. But they check with landlords if you live in an apt and ya....that's a no go.

No No rescues have room to pull her and no interest in her, even though she is the most well behaved, sweetest dog at the shelter. She's breaking my heart.

Damn it. Not what I wanted to hear. She is so sweet, and her eyes just make me want to hug her. Keeping her in my thoughts and prayers to find a forever home.

She's still there and still her same, lovable self. She's not letting the shelter environment get to her, she's such a perfect, happy little girl. I think this is going to be her last week though, they are trying their hardest but need more room badly. She's been there over a month, which is amazing for this shelter.

Ugh, so heartbreaking I Hope that a rescue out there can pull her and give her the chance for a forever home. She is beautiful and sounds like a perfect dog!

How is she with other dogs? She looks like a brown Marsha.

She's great with other dogs and ignores cats when she realizes they aren't interesting LOL. I just emailed the shelter for an update. They were supposed to let me know before they euthanized her but if they got busy....she might be gone already. All the rescues are full and can't take her, I've networked her to all of them.

She's so freaking sweet and tiny, I wish I could foster her but they will only let a 501c foster and like I said, they check with landlords. I don't think the shelter will agree to board her unless a 501 rescue pulls her and takes complete responsibility for her. The city shelter doesn't do spay/neuters so she will have to be spayed also.

I have two other people that know I'm a pit bull person asking me to help them rehome their dogs. Sigh.
