His name is Lover at the shelter, But us standing outside calling for our Pit Bull.. "Come here lover! NO lover"
Didn't seem right, so we are calling him Zirc (Zircon) He is roughly 1.5-2yrs old. He is about 55-60lbs. And it is all muscle!
He is a sweetie, but very active. And still is learning to not get.. over excited. He's a Big old Puppy.
He was from a neglect Confiscation case. And wasn't really taught much as a pup.
He is now Dog friendly, But can be a bit much for the calmer dogs. So would need someone with another hard player. He is learning to finally Play bow.. But he is a bit much for Jade so she wont play with him. Lol
He is "OK" with the cats, And has learned Not to chase them now (On leash) But does a Stare down on them, so I really don't think a home with cats is the best Idea for him. When Percy my kitten gets close he will lick her and nuzzle her.. But he gets a little too intense for my liking.
He is like a Bull in a china shop. Lol So, it is like having a 60lb puppy in the house.
He is awesome on his walks, Knows Sit, Down, Stay, Paw, Touch, and learning Leave it, Drop it and take it.
he's very smart! And SO willing to please. He would be amazing for a Agility Dog, or Rally obedience of sorts.
He is GREAT with Older kids. Lol Younger ones are fun to want to jump on, so unless you are willing to work with him on it.. And your kid is ok with maybe being knocked over a cpl times.. then Older kids may be best. haha As we don't have kids here to work with him on that as much. But when he see's my friends kids he is totally SO excited!
He really needs a job to do.
He is Not Food, Toy or bone aggressive at all! He is used to having his mouth, Feet and tail touched.
He needs a home of his own!
