Good Lord, anything else at this time?
Re: Good Lord, anything else at this time?
Thank you for everything you are doing for Zoey. She was out of surgery at 5.30 PM this afternoon and the surgery went "very well" according to her vet.She is staying overnight and I'll go pick her up tomorrow, later in the afternoon.I'll update as soon as she is home.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle shipping costs and how to keep track of who has paid/donated?
I just sent you a PM with the leads ... I wonder if there should be individual threads for each item with bids listed, to make sure none get lost in the shuffle. Maybe in equipment section? I'll cover shipping on my items, so it doesn't need to be an issue for those.
Maybe we should have payment for auction items sent to one person's designated Paypal account and then find out how each item seller wants to deal with shipping (pay for it themselves or tack on "Plus shipping charges" to the item) and for those who want to have the buyer pay them back for shipping, handle it like ebay: have the seller calculate them, then notify buyer, and then have buyer pay the full price once shipping is set. Then the person taking the money would have to reimburse the seller ... kind of complicated, but shouldn't be too bad.

I'm sending something today via paypal if I can make it work!! I'm concerned about people being able to keep up with the different auction offerings and then like Vin's package - should everything be streamlined/combined in one place?

Re: Good Lord, anything else at this time?
I think it would be easier if each item or maybe seller had it's own thread. It seems to get confusing when they are all in one thread.
I think the payment should get paypaled to Val. Then she can notify it is paid and the seller can ship
I know I have a book and some stuff around here. I'll look around today.

How's our girlie doing today?
I'm sure another bout of convalescence so soon will be hard on her.... I wish we could effectively communicate with them and explain things....

Here you go Jenna:
That was on Thursday. Today, after I got home from getting dog food, she was up demanding attention and yelling at us. Every move she makes worries me out, because she has that one knee left to use, and it was already a damaged knee on the mend. She is going to move around a little, I can't avoid it, and to crate her would just stress her.
The first thing she did when we came back from the vet was to grab her newer toy, then passed out after some Tramadol:

Ironically, I got an e-mail today from a lady in San Francisco who saw Zoey on a kind courtesy listing on Dognerd's rescue website. Of course, now that she has to go through months of rehabilitation.
Thank to those of you who followed through with helping Zoey. Some names on my Paypal page I was not able to put with a username but each one of you who posted here with the offer to help really committed to it. We are very grateful.

If you want it to be a carrot then yes, it is a carrot.
But it is not.
