Got off work early today, took him for a nice stroll around my neighborhood park. He is on day 5 of refusing to eat. We are giving him IV fluids, appetite stimulants and Pred. He is weary and weak. He lost 15lbs in the past month and is literally skin and bones Animal Cops status. All the supplements and $75 bag of dog food are pretty much useless at this point.

We tried feeding him baby food, but it was more forced and like 2 spoonfuls. Not too optimistic about anything right now...my girl is having a hard time and won't let me put him down. It's not that I want to, but I hate seeing him like this.

What I would give to throw the ball for him one last time....

Spend as much time as you can. I held our girl Amber close and gave her loving kisses while I recounted all the wonderful moments we had together from the time we adopted her till that very moment. I let her know that if she needed to go I understood and let her know that her brother Raphael would be waiting for her at the bridge.
