oh nooo, I am so very sorry Brandon. It is a terrible disease, this breed is prone to it and even fully vaccinated they can stlll catch it as your are sadly, aware of.
P.s. ( You need to bleach down everything Karma has been in contact with, especially everywhere Karma made pee and poop, it will keep on killing puppies if you don't kill the virus in the soil and everywhere else it is now hiding. Bleach is what you mut use, not lysol or any other cleaners, it does not kill the virus like bleach. Please do not let any other dogs or puppies come in comntact with any contaminated areas or they too will catch it.
Karma, rest in peace little angel.

I'm so sorry about your loss. :( R.I.P. Karma

Parvo is horrible. It's easily spread and stays in the ground for many years.

There are quite a few different strains of Parvo. They range from quite mild(good chance of survival) to very strong(hits hard and quick - kills fast). There's actually a strain out there that drops adult dogs as if they were defenseless puppies.

Survival depends on the strain of the virus, the immunity system strength of the dog and how fast it's detected by the owner, so treatement can be started sooner.

Sorry to hear about your pup. Sometimes there is just no preventing this and depending on the strain perhaps there is nothing you could have done besides make him as comfortable as possible.
