RUBY the Elderbull! Eastern WA

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

RUBY the Elderbull! Eastern WA

Another one of my very favorite dogs at the Spokane Humane Society in Spokane, WA. Ruby is such an awesome dog!! She is 7+ years old, but so playful and fun... she is an athlete! She loves to play ball and is SO adorable and gentle returning the ball, drops it nicely and waits for the next throw!

I don't know why, but something about her, at certain angles, she looks a little like Tivi to me. And she's a special dog like him too, she's just great- super fun, and very loving.

Here's her info on Petango:

And some pics of her playing today:

Here she is politely setting the ball down on the bench for me to throw again:

What a sweet-looking older girl. I hope somebody adopts her soon!

Huge sigh :(. Ruby is back at the shelter. Her new home was short-lived, as the people apparently had to move (not sure of any further details, but SUCKY either way). So poor Ruby, one of the BEST dogs I have ever met, is back in the kennels waiting to be adopted again.

And to make matters worse, she is FAT now. They had her for 2.5 months and it doesn't look like she took a single walk during that time. I couldn't believe how much bigger she is now.

I don't suppose there's any Eastern Washington folks here that could actually give her a GOOD home, and a FOREVER one at that?!

Breaks my heart for her.

Her listing again (same pictures from January, which do not at all reflect how chunky the poor girl is now):

Update: ADOPTED (again!)! The shelter says Ruby was adopted to a GREAT family this time. They have a special needs son who Ruby adored, and Ruby will be the only pet as the family understands her need to be the one-and-only! Paws crossed this one sticks and Ruby now has the life she deserves!!
