She didn't want her breakfast, which is really unusual--she is like Gypsy was, a chow hound that rarely turns down any type of food.
I was patting her belly, and it was making noises like a drum, and noticed that she felt warm to the touch...so I took her temp. 103.7...not normal.
So, we gave her baruim and did an xray. The barium passed through, but there is a suspiciou cloudiness in her stomach. The doctor thinks she may have eaten a rag or stuffing from a toy.
She still feels bad, worse even, she is breathing rapid and heavy, laying stretched out in the kennel.
So she is now hooked up to IV fluids and we will be taking another xray at 2pm. Depending on the results, we may be going into surgery this afternoon.
Just please, keep her in your prayers.
