I'm new to the board. My name is Perri, I am married and have 1 kid away at college. Its been lonely since she left and life has settled down to where we are ready to make an addition to our family. We've foster 3 dogs since Nov 2011 and decided it is time to adopt one of our own. Our local shelter overflows with pits and pit-mixs the sizes are medium to large. I have very basic questions before adopting so we can be ready when we the the right dog.
