Some of you may remember we are fostering Benny, who came from a fight bust in Louisiana. He, of course, had Heartworms and started his treatment a couple of weeks ago. He's having a bit of a tougher go of it than dogs I have treated before (heavier worm load to begin with) He's coughed up blood a couple times and started drinking a ton of water. We had some concerns about kidney function, but his blood test today came back normal for that BUT his lymph nodes are all enlarged now, along with elevated calcium levels. We aspirated, please don't let it be freaking cancer.
He's the sweetest thing ever, we need a little good PBF juju for him.
