Ringworm

the ticks are out thick and guess what we picked up ringworm along the way also.
discovered immediately, started topical and shampoo and de-fungiing the house, is that a word de-fungi?
all thru the vets instructions
however would like to know others experience with issue, do's and don'ts that you may have experienced
what was the length of time you found to rid the fungi and be safe to be around other dogs, little children, etc.

I use dilluted bleach, dabbed right on the spots

how long did it take to clear your dog, you and others.
i have a trip to see my granddaughter (1yr) easter, i dont want myself or dog to take the fungis to her or the other dogs.

Thank you The bleach works pretty fast, but I can't remember exactly how long.

We fostered a couple of kittens who brought it in, Stormy is everyone's momma and of course got it bad, then we both got it too.
The creams and crap the vet and the doctors gave us wasn't working on Stormy or us, but the over the counter athletes foot cream worked wonders on the kittens, go figure.
We used a combo approach after talking to one of our friends from here, and the elderly lady up the street.
Diluted bleach, and Neem Oil. Dab on the bleach water once a day, and give it a good coat of the Neem morning and evening. Neem reeks, smells like burnt peanut butter, but it worked wonders.
All told I think it took a week for Stormy's spots to get gone, and about two for ours.

oh great! things for the new approach. i've used the bleach 1/10 to clean everything in my house.
i had to for-go a easter trip to see my 1yr old granddaughter for a few weeks
plus there are pitties in the house,
now wouldnt that be a wonderful easter surprise for my son & daughterinlaw!
