Obi needs good thoughts!

Last night we notice Obi was unusually quiet and tired easily after a couple of romps around the yard. Totally out of character for my high energy (read: generally obnoxious) boy.

This morning when I was feeding my cats, Obi peed on the floor right in front of me. I brought him to work for a urinalysis figuring he had a simple UTI.

But the only abnormal thing about his urine is bilirubin.

It could be nothing, or it could be a symptom of liver disease or something like IMHA.

Ughhhh. I'm sure it's nothing but it IS Friday the 13th...

He ate and he hasn't done any further strange urine things.

His CBC was normal so no IMHA thank the stars but it still means we have no idea where the bilirubin came from...

I'm going to watch him closely over the weekend and see how he does. He's still quieter than normal.

The thing is, we aren't sure that it's related to his liver. He had full bloodwork done in October when he started as a blood donor and it was perfect! So I'm sure te milk thistle wouldn't hurt but it probably wouldn't help either.

He seems to be his normal self but it's hard to tell because we have a temporary foster that arrived yesterday until Tuesday and he is so smitten with him that he's bouncing around like a pup. Maybe that was it all along...? He missed fostering?
