too skinny?

If anything, he looks a little plump to me, since you can't really see a waist tuck. Of course, that's probably the photo. It's fine to see the spine, says me vet, who likes all her client dogs slender.

Our Vanya spends hours each day on our farm running, digging, hunting, and generally bouncing around. He's 60 lbs and gets 2 cups a day of TOTW.

From that last photo I would say gaining 5# would be a good idea.

Alice at a healthy weight, you want to be able to see some rib.

He looks fine to me. The photo angle isn't great, but I'm not seeing enough rib prominence for him to appear underweight.

What DNA test did you use? I've never seen any come back as 100% anything!

He's very handsome - I don't think he's too skinny at all, but as others have said, the picture is tough to read.

i used wisdom mixed breed. i was SO surprised when it came back 100% too, trust me. a page full of wee little AST's.

A girlfriend of mine had her border collie come back 100%. That was the first for me too though!

You'll get used to it. The average American has such a skewed idea of what a healthy dog looks like. Now I just compare him to an athlete and people understand a little better.

SN: My husband works for the YMCA, and every time I take Henry to his workplace, we get TONS of compliments from trainers and their fitness staff. "Your dog is ripped!", "He's so lean!" "He's 5.5? He looks like a puppy!"
