Newbie obeying the rules

Hi! I don't have a pit bull, though I love the breed. I rescued a beagle x border collie instead, because my MIL, who lives with us, hates pit bulls. I don't think it's right to bring a dog into a home where he'll be hated, so no wigglebutt bully for me yet.

My old dog was a 90lb GSD mix. He was so DA, he went through a window to get at another dog, and glass sticking out of his nose and eye socket didn't slow him down at all. So managing DA is old hat for me. I did get Muggsy to stop acting like a jerk on walks, so I think I will be able to handle a pit bull when I get one.

Anyway, that's my story. Hoping to have my own pit bull someday, enjoying yours until I can.
