Buddy Girl needs some good thoughts.
Ok rushing back to the clinic. My husband is driving. She vomited a massive puddle of bloody water and then laid down for a few minutes then got up and vomited four puddles of bloody bile.
God my heart physically hurts. Pleaseeeeee be okay Budders.

Fingers crossed! Please let us know. It's gotta be a medication reaction?! The only change she had was anesthesia (her bloodwork was ok beforehand?) and tramadol? She already took Metacam PRN with no ill effects? I wonder what it is and hope it's simple. You both have been through so much.

Buddy Girl needs some good thoughts.
So she's hospitalized on fluids overnight.
she's never been hospitalized. Right now all we know is that she has a positive snap cPLi test but it was after hours so in the morning she's going to have more blood taken to find out her cPLi level and we will also do xrays +/- ultrasound to make sure there's no underlying cause.
She's had both metacam and tramadol long term in the past with no issues. We sent a geriatric blood panel out two weeks ago and it came back perfect.
We know she doesn't do well with anesthetics so is that a contributing factor? We aren't sure.
It does mean that she can't be on her j/d food anymore and I'll need to find a safe way to supplement her fatty acids and glucosamine.
My poor old lady. I'm such a dramatic worry-wart when it comes to her but I can't help but feel like it can't "just" be pancreatitis...
Thanks everyone for your kindness.

You are not a worry wart - you love her and your worrying is appropriate, imo. I am the same as are most of us.
Continued positive thoughts being sent to Buddy.

Oh, I know how hard it is to have her be away. She will probably feel so much perkier in the AM and will be feeling good from the fluids, and you'll feel better seeing her that way. Hugs to you all. I'm so sorry it all came along at once. Fingers crossed she bounces back (well, not too much bouncing on her knee!) really quickly. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Buddy Girl needs some good thoughts.
Poor Obi is definitely missing his sister. He's stuck to me like glue (even more than usual) and he didn't finish his breakfast.
At least I hope that's all it is. I do NOT need an old dog with two torn ligaments and pancreatitis and a young dog with sympathy illness.
