Never ever gonna believe this.....

Went to run the troops today out at that acreage I posted about previous. Done with our hr work out, Boz seems more winded then usual and I dont want to push him cause of his heart.

Load up the boys and hear Kal yelp and see her fly in the air, hummmm. Run over there and she freaking got bit by a damn snake that is rattling away. Call her off, call my boss and tell them I am on the way.

Get there she is lethargic, beat red, covered in hives, cant find punctures, heart rate drops, wtf. Then remember I put new tick preventative on her today, right when I got to Canine Country, certifect......so she has now been bit by an f'in snake and having Amitraz toxicity.

FML!!!!!!!!!!!

She is hospitalized tonight as I just cant do tprs every 30mins. She is stable.

Seriously WTF. Can I have any more threads in this flipping health section ! I mean seriously now I am just waiting for Boz to go ahead and go into heart failure.

Are you trying to hog the whole section or what, I mean really!
That's so horrible, I sure hope she'll be ok. Tell your dogs they've had enough excitement for a while.

OH JEEZE!

Ugh. What a week. Hopefully everyone else stays status quo. Including your wallet. It's like the universe is just checking to make sure your adrenal glands are working...

Snake wasnt able to be identified. I did learn most snakes rattle when threatened......crazy. I am pretty sure the MO Dept of Conversation are laughing at me today after my call yesterday.

'Yup I am a badass, I beat a snake bite and Amitraz!'

At 70% but I will take 70% when we were at 10% yesterday.

Good to know people are seeing reactions. I tried it for the first time this month when the Amitraz collars were on back-order. I didn't have any problems, but you bet your buns my dogs were at work when I applied it the first time.

Glad to hear your pup has recovered, Two things at once is just too much!
