New Pit owner from southwest Oklahoma

Hi I am married with a wife and a soon to be 6 year old daughter. we currently have a 3 year old Bull-Catahoula mix named Bella. I love pit bulls follow the leader of the house everywhere personality.I just bought a papered Blue fawn , brindle mix named Rusty. I am currently crate training Rusty.I do not let either dog on the furniture or in the bedroom, or bathroom .Rusty only has access to the kitchen and laundry room until I feel he has a little more bladder control. Man I forgot how much a puppy can pee . I have worked with various breeds through out my life.

Those like more like Ambullies than APBT. Are you sure that pup is 11 weeks old in that pic? Looks small and maybe just the picture but looks rather flat footed to me, do you have a pic of her standing? Sounds like you are off to the right track potty training, puppies are time consuming for sure.

Yah he was the runt of the litter.
And yes mixed blood line.

Rusty's cute little feet look like my Sophie's. We're not really sure what Sophie is ... some sort of pit-x or something. But she has those dainty little toes!

Welcome. If they are doing a skin scraping, they likely suspected your pup has demodetic mange, which is not unusual in the breed, especially in the dilute colors 9blue, red). There's lots of info on demo if you use the search function.
