hello from miami

Hello everyone!

My name is Alyssa. My boyfriend and I live in Miami, Florida. A little over a year ago we purchased a house, and it just didn't seem like a home with out a puppy running around.
It was not my initial plan to get a Pitbull terrier, but I did know that whatever we did get we wanted to adopt. I just don't see why I would go out and searching for breeders and certain breeds, when I can save a lonely little puppy and give him/her a home.
And that is how we got Bentley. He just turned a year old on sunday. He is extremely mischievous and playful, and really he just wants love and attention. He is definitely still learning, which is how I ended up on this site. I definitely need some advice on how to work on certain issues with him.

technically, i live in pembroke pines. just across the broward line so its legal.

his ears are one of my favorite things about him. Per our adoption agreement we had him neutered at a very young age. so the cone pushed his ears forward while they were still in the molding phase. so now they are so soft and delicious to play with!

thank you for the warm welcome! indeed he is a little ball of fun. but definitely some behavior things i want to work to, thats how i ended up here. looking for some support and wise words (: its nice to see such a strong community built around these beautiful dogs!
