I am 26, married for 5 years now. I work in e-commerce.
My hubby always wanted a APBT but his parents weren't animal people, when we moved in he had to get used to 2 border collies sleeping in the house and so last year I decided its time to get him his favourite breed of dog. We don't have a big budget and therefore did not get a registered APBT, I looked for a long time on the internet and found a genuinly nice guy who let his girl have a litter and so we got Halo, my hubby's baby. She sleeps on the bed with us and is spoilt.
I love the breed because they are so gentle and loving, Halo loves playing with the neighborhood kids and dogs. She has made herself at home by the neighbor and refuses to comes home sometimes. She plays with their labby Peaches. She also loves my sisters dogs (Retriever Max, and Staffie Guinness). She loves going for walks and playing in the park with the jack russel that lives in the area. We took her to a APBT show in our area with the idea to join their club but I was really disappointed and have decided not to join any clubs. Halo kept trying to play with the older girls and they don't like to be bothered so we decided to get Tyson, a brindle male for her to play with. They play for hours on end and at least they leave the Grannies alone LOL.I am busy doing puppy socialising classes with Tyson and want to do obedience and possibly obedience shows. I was thinking about agility too. My hubby would love to do weight pulling with Halo but since she is only 9 months old we are still looking into that.
I also have rats, and no not the sewer rats LOL, pedigree rats that our rat breeders imported from USA. I currently have 2 boys, Monty & Sideswipe and 9 Girls, Nirvana, Dumbi, Sahara, Bella, Gypsy, Two Toes, Astrud, Fluffy & Mischeif.
I am here to learn more about the breed and to share our babies with you
