These pit mix puppies were found tied up outside of a townhouse on Washington and Montrose. A woman that lives there took them to a vet and the vet saw symptoms of Demodex and Staph infections, very easily treated and common in puppies. She kept them overnight, but took them to CAPS (at vet's suggestion) thinking they would have a chance, but because of the skin infections, they told her they will be euthanized tomorrow before the close of the day. She is picking them up at 11am tomorrow, when they open and I'm letting her use a spare kennel that I have. She's adopting one, yay! But, she can only keep the other 4 until FRIDAY, and they will go to BARC if we can't get them safe. She is adopting the blueish brown one that is yawning, but the rest need homes ASAP. Contact me at
jessica_lynn_kyle@yahoo.com if you can help. Please don't pm, I get my emails to my phone so it'll be quicker. This is an urgent situation, so time is of the essence. I will be getting more pics and assessing the puppies' condition tomorrow afternoon. These photos were taken yesterday, so the skin issues havn't gotten severe yet. I will transport them anywhere in the Houston area.
