What's the best flea prevention for a 7wk. old? A collar for now or start right off with a med? didn't buy anything yet. this is the first puppy this young that i have had. thanx

I was told that a bath in dawn dish soap will kill the fleas, if you dont have an infestation in your house this might do the trick till he gets older.

I was given a flea prevenative on my first vet visit.

A vet visit and some revolution would be a good start.

Thank you for the response. I just found out that the flea medication can be given at 8wks.
