Is there a way to make a bone appetizing again?

I gave Mya a knuckle bone..she ate the good stuff off the outside and then just kinda gave up on it. I started putting peanut butter in the top where the marrow was and on one side where there's a hole and she works on it for a little bit. Is there other ways to make it more appetizing again for her? I don't want to throw it out as it's still got lots of life in it and it would be a waste just to buy them so she can eat the outside and leave it. Looking for some good ideas to get more life out of it.

Put it in the freezer and bring it back out in a week or so.

Try femur bones... One of my dogs hates knuckle bones, but loves femur bones.

Are you giving the bone as dinner or in addition to dinner?

it's just a bone for her to chew on instead of things around the house. I give it to her in the evening when I'm relaxing to occupy her for a bit. She looks forward to it but just seems to get bored with it. It's in addition to her dinner.

That could be the problem, since she isn't hungry and a raw bone is food. One raw knuckle bone is equivalent to at least one meal. Maybe try giving her a bone instead of dinner one night and see how long she will chew on it?

I put my nylabones and old bone in the bowl in the fridge that has the raw meat in it. A little meat adheres to them, but they absorb some flavor.

I tried last night replacing her meal with the bone. She had no interest in either so she had no supper. Not sure..maybe I need to take her in as she's not really showing too much interest in food like she was before. She loves treats but I'm not giving her treats to fill her up she gets those very sparsely.
