New to the breed.

Hi I'm Joe.

Put it short I was given a 3 month old pit bull by my neighbor. The original plan was keep him till we find him a good home. I found out about our guest with a phone call at work from my wife and was kinda upset. Now it's DAY 4 of keeping the dog and have decided to tell her the finding him a new home is on hold. I'm a big dog guy. I've had dogs all my life growing up but mainly cockers and mutts. Since we got married and have 3 boys we have never got a dog. We have planed on finding a dog soon and both agreed on a Shepard... But now CASH (the new PB pup) is here. I'm really getting attached. My boys are 1,2 and 7 and he plays so well with all of them. He is really a big goofy guy. I already started spoiling him with chew toys and impressed that's ALL he will chew on. I know he is a puppy still and will have our days getting used to each other but I'm really impressed with the guy. So I'm here to gain as much knowledge about these guys to keep this guy as good as he seems and make sure if he stays for the long haul that we are as good to him as possible.I myself work nights as a painter and a big sports fan and would enjoy the companionship with this furry friend. Also excited cause I really didn't want a lap or fru-fru dog. Anywho I'll try to add pics of the guy.

This is pretty wierd! I just joined myself. Accquired my blue brindle buddy when he was 3 mnths old ive had him for a mobth now. And his name......CASH...after my ravorite outlaw johnny cash.. what a cowiny dink! Anyways mine is great..he plays well with the kids. He suuuch a lover. He is my best buddy already..never leaves my side. I figure i just give him love and attention and he is comming along great. They are very smart dogs they learn fast. Good luck with your guy Cash
