Hello from a new member

Hi all, my name is Matthew and I became the proud owner today of an extremely well behaved 7 month old Pit/Terrier mix. My wife and I found him at our Local Humane League adoption center, sat and played with him for awhile and fell in love. He has a tendency to jump up, but I am already working on it, with good results. He is so full of love and kisses. Ive never owned an animal with such fierce loyalty this early on in our relationship. Whenever I go out side to smoke, he insists on going out with me, and he stands guard while I smoke. Agsin, this is another trait Ive never previously witnessed with a dog. After the adoption, we took him to That Pet Place, pet care center. He picked out his own bones and a squeeky monkey toy. Again, he was very well behaved with other customers aswell as the other dogs.

I dont yet have a pic to post, but I will definetly get 1 up tomorrow.

its nice to see a website dedicated to the care and betterment of this breed.

His name is Kanobi.. as in Obi Wan Kanobi from Star Wars. He loves playing with his squeeky duck and his blanket. He is a horrible walker. He will not move or will sit in 1 spot for 5-10 minutes. I have to nearly drag him to get him to start walking again. Definetly something Im going to have to work on. He is very prey oriented. He will also only fall asleep if I am near him. Last night he slept on the floor on my side of the bed.

He just got a bath, so his color is true in the pics.
