"sleep crust" in eyes

"sleep crust" in eyes

My pit always seems to have sleep crust in her eyes outside of the corner of her eye near the lacrimal sac. is this an issue?

You should ask your vet. They can check for entropian/ectropian and other issues that may be cause for concern. :)

Some foods seem to cause more eye boogies than others. You might want to try a different food, see if that helps.

thanks guys. i notice it a few times during the day and almost every morning after a night's sleep

Ditto. Dairy does this to Ruby as does the last food I was feeding....

I feed her blue buffalo wilderness. she also eats cooked but unseasoned chicken and peanut butter in her kong. thats about it
