Neuticles for Jojo

Hi my name is Matt I'm the proud owner of Flower and Joker. Joker is almost 4 and its time to get him neutered I didn't want him to look like he had no balls. Just ordered and received his Neuticles(prosthetic testicles) wondering if anyone else but me is going to or already done this procedure? Should be interesting. Cheers

Dog balls gross me out. Someone here put it so exactly once-- I prefer my dogs to be like Disney characters. Completely gender ambiguous.

Welcome! I think it is awesome you are getting him fixed. You seem like a caring owner. Me personally, like Allison, I find dog balls disgusting

My name is Matt I live in Yukon Oklahoma, was born and raised in Oklahoma, my friend and I started a business 6 years ago. We install, service and sell gasoline equipment in the state. I don't really like watching sports except Thunder basketball which I love. I'm a skydiver however my jumping slowed down when I got married but I still make jumps when I can.

I've always had dogs since I can remember, we lived in a rural town growing up and I took in a lot of strays, dogs and cats. When I was a senior in high school I bought my first pitbull Ziggy he was a good dog, went everywhere with me, then off we went to college . I soon picked up xena (a real junk yard dog ) owned by a guy I knew that ended up in prison so I took the girl. Had a few pups, dogs grew old xena went first then zig man at 13 yrs. I bought Angel shortly after. 6 months into her life I was 30 yrs old and finally straightened my life out and became fully responsible. Long story. At 2 yrs I let her have one litter of pups, sold all but one pup, Flower. At some point I realized the prejudice and discrimination and shelters full of pits. I got angel fixed. At this time I had angel and flower. 2 yrs later I got as a gift from a girl, joker a beautiful ADBA registered blue pitbull. I bought a house In Yukon ok and we moved. I built a 20'x15' dog pen concrete pad fully enclosed custom metal roof metal frame. I'll post pics when I figure it out. The dogs are out when I'm home only. It's heated and has a mist system installed for when it gets too hot. One day at work I saw a dog with leash and collar in the middle of the intersection, it looked like a pit only much bigger, she had been bred many times by the look of her teats. I took out ads in the paper, called all rescues, got her spayed, it was so heartbreaking seeing all the bully types in shelters and the sheer difficulty of placing her. She absolutely hated my female dogs but loved joker, one day she was in the back yard as my neighbors dog (a yorkie) was out yapping and in one fell swoop over the fence with said yorkie in her mouth like a rag doll she didn't hurt him tho but my neighbor flipped. Privacy fence and hot wire now and rescued dog at the pound per animal control. I don't rescue dogs off the streets anymore.

Few years later I got married angel got sick had to put her to rest, Joker is a great dog flower is fixed and they say dogs don't have sex for fun but they do at least mine do. We've coined the phrase porn Sunday because it usually happens every Sunday. My first dog Ziggy when he was old had testicular tumors it was horrible. So here I am getting ready to get joker neutered. I found out about Neuticles and bought a pair just wondering if anyone had ever had the procedure done with their dogs..??

Wow! That was quite a story Matt! Thank you for your honesty and sharing such personal things, and good for you for learning and striving to be a better owner. There was an article posted here about the Neuticles or Neuticals... not sure of the spelling. It was recent and in the Press section I believe. We have mixed opinions on it here.
