Hello everybody. My name is Michael. I'm a proud owner of a 4 year old pitbull, Achilles. I've had him since he was 4 months old. He loves everyone and everyone loves him. The best friend I've ever had!! Anyway, I just wanted to say that I'm happy to be a member and its great to see a site that shows the TRUE nature of pittys. Thanks for having us!!

Cute pup! Can you tell us a little more about yourself and any goals you may have for you and your dog? There's a sample sicky at the top of this section to help you out.

Well, I'm 30 years old. I live in the Chicago metro area. My girlfriend, Dana, and I have been dating for almost 5 years now (she always likes to brag that she picked Achilles out....I'll let her think that

. I enjoy playing pretty much any sport, and hanging out with family and friends. Achilles goes just about everywhere with me, and is a big hit with everyone I see.

Achilles is my FIRST dog. My uncle and two friends have pitbulls and they are ALL the most well behaved, people-loving dogs iv ever met. And that not an overstatement. So needless to say, when I decided to get a dog, I knew that a pitbull was the dog for me.

Achilles was a bit of a handful at first, however, he caught on very quickly. Learned the rules very fast. I made sure to socialize him with other dogs and people right off the bat. Wasn't difficult though, he has always been very personable.

Sorry, as far as goals are concerned, I was actually thinking about giving weight pulling a try. See how he likes it. He does enjoy pulling kids in the wagon. But we'll see how that goes
