She looks like a Pit Bull (in the general sense) mix to me! Very cute!
Can you tell us about yourself some so you can be given access to the forum? There's a sample sticky at the top of this section to help you out with what we like to know

Until the she is grown, we can't really make any good suggestions. She just looks like a typical APBT/AST pup to me, but since you don't know for sure her lineage she's just a pit bull. Nothing wrong with that, most of us here just have plain ol pit bulls

Thanks Curly_07 : ) yep the while and I are still talking about it. Really wanted a blue may have to wait to find one. Anyone in Nashville area know of any? I have been using Pet Finder. We bought a poor yorkie from a puppy mill the first team when we didn't know about that type of business. Now would like to do it right!

You can edit posts, but it has to be done within a certain amount of minutes.
I'd stick with Pet Finder. It's an awesome site that ALL rescues and shelters post dogs to. Also try going into a shelter and looking around. Sometimes it takes an org a couple days to get the profiles posted.
You'll be approved, I just need to get to my computer to do it.

We almost bought a puppy yesterday- Didn't realize the difference of a AB vs. APBT. I kept thinking wow they look a little shorter and broader than what we were looking for... Learning so much already.
Thanks again for your help-

If you are considering buying as well, please read our sticky in the Adoptable section called "Breeder Code of Ethics". This will help you weed out any backyard breeders and help prevent some issues you may encounter later on, had you not known better.

I haven't. Us mods work the forum as volunteers, so sometimes it takes a few days to be approved. I should be able to get on later today to add you and a few other new members. Apologies for the wait!

No problem you might could answer this = ) to at least help the search...
We have a 4 soon to be 5 year old daughter and our first "child" = ) a 7 year old Female Yorkie.
So my question is this... What would be the best age and sex typically speaking to work out better between our current dog and family.
I have hear puppy doesn't matter as long as you s/n it while its young... Or if its older to get the opposing sex.

Re: Looking for a new addition to our family : )
Most will advise opposite sex, so male, and a dog that is of a mature age (1.5 years +) that has been temperament tested and proven good with children/other dogs. Many rescues and shelters do this testing. Personally, I always have females, but I adopt at ages 3 yrs+, and do gradual introductions with them. It all depends on the dog, so you could add another female, but rule of thumb is opposite sex.
