update on deuce's leg

well, it's almost been 4 weeks since his surgery and he's doing better every week... I take him to the vet fri. for x-rays of his leg. I can't wait to get that stupid pin out of his leg so the lump of fluid will go away. It's such a hassel. It looks like a tennis ball underneath his skin but it doesn't seem to bother him. Anyways, if all goes well at the vet, he said that the pin might be able to come out after 6 weeks, only if everything looks ok; otherwise, we must wait another 4 weeks to get that stupid pin out. I'm really pleased with his recovery so far, and I hope that the rest of the recovery goes as smoothly as the first portion. Thanks for all the concern and input everyone

So glad that's going well Deuce. That lump of fluid will probably stay for awhile after the pin is out. It did on Levi. Sounds like your pup is doing great, congrats.
