Introduction and posting

Postby roheryn » Fri Mar 18, 2005 9:41 am

Hi, I am new to this forum. I joined earlier this week and am enjoying reading all the information others have posted. But I can't post myself. I have been in the FAQ several times over and have followed all the instructions. But when it says there is a button to press to ask permission to post ... there is no such button! It's getting very frustrating. Can amyone help me out?

Hello and Welcome!

This is the 1st post you should read (1st post on the Intro page, entitled "Attention New Member" ;)

First and foremost, Welcome to Pit Bull Forum !

Here are some things to help you get started.

Step 1. Read the rules here :

Step 2. Please introduce yourself & your dog(s) in the 'Introductions' section. This is the only section where you will be able to post until we grant you access to other sections.

Welcome section is here:

Before posting questions, try doing a search here:

In many cases, someone has asked the same question previously. The search function can help to answer your question quickly and reduce duplicate threads. If you find an older thread that relates to your question, post on it and it will come back up to the first page.

I did that first thing. I've read and reread everything I can find that I'm supposed to do first. But still, I can't figure out how to post other than here. How do I get permission? Where is this button that I'm supposed to push?

In the ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS post, #2 tells you that you need to be GRANTED ACCESS to post on the rest of forum. That may not have happened yet. One of the Site Admins will grant you full access as soon as they can. If you'd like, you may send a private message to ArielPayopay or Kazuo and ask them to allow you access.

Please be patient, we have had to implement this procedure for many reasons and it works very well. Thanks for understanding.

Sorry, I forgot to add:

You should post a real introduction about yourself - where are you from, if you have APBT's, how you came to be interested in the breed, etc. That's what we are looking for in this section, so the other members can get to know you.
