Hi from a foster home

Hi my names Louise Smith Im from Canada. My province has just banned Pit Bulls, I volunteer for Advocates for The Under Dog

I foster pits in my home, I dont own a pit but since September 2005 I have had about 15 in my home. Its so hard because I love them all so much. All our dogs are adopted into wonderful families and we always get good updates so I guess that keeps me sane. At the moment I have a white pit named Laser, he came from a terrible home, when we got him he was in shock he was attacked by another dog!! He got stitches, a bath and some tlc and hes a sweety now. AFTU and several other organisations have hired an attorney to fight this by-law, Ill keep you guys posted on the happenings.

My Ontario is NOT Breed Specific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone, what a warm welcome. Hopefully in the future once the Ontario ban goes into effect I can find some help adopting on this forum. Its nice to talk to educated people.......... My City sucks.........Very close minded people......... :sad:
