I've been lurking here for weeks and finally decided to join in the fun.
I do not actually own a APBT or any bully breed, but I am a firm adovocate for the breed. I don't know how you people manage it, once people hear that I'm a pittie fan they swarm me, and "fill me in" on how vicious these dogs are.
I would have a pit but:
a- I live in Winnipeg (though we're moving outside of the city soon)
b- I don't feel I'm ready for one. I'd rather "test drive" my training skills on another dog before adopting one. The setter I'm getting this fall will fit this need perfectly.
c- I have family members who do not have a strong commitment and would not follow through with avoiding dog aggression and various other topics.
I do however have a cocker spaniel, four parrots and three rats. Would do picture intros, but that would take too long and is completely unrelated. The cocker had behavioural issues because of lack of socialization and training. This is completely reversed now because of..surprise! Socialization and training. Because we all know that if we tell a dog to sit, and he sits, he's not mauling the kid down the street. Uh yeah, I'm opinionated.
I hope to share in with the discussion.

The more bully breed lovers the better, the world can never have enough.
