Finally I found a Pit Bull forum that doesn't revolve around fighting.

I rescued my first Pit, red red nosed, Ginger 6 years ago. I knew nothing about the breed good or bad and when this floppy footed, bat eard puppy came running up to me at an auto shop, how could I just walk on by. She is the reason I love this breed and will defend them until I die. I rescue mostly Pits, but will help any animal in need. My boyfriend rescued his Pit Gravity when she was running for her life down the street outside of our neighborhood. She is fear aggressive with strangers, but a 60lb lap dog to us. She is black and white, built like a tank low to the ground and wide. But because of her wide build, which I'm sure was intentionally created by a BYB, she has hip displasia. Hydro is our male, solid white, with big bat ears, and a big smart mouth "woo woo woo". He was also running down the side of the road and when we stopped the car he jumped right in like it was his car. On top of having these guys, I foster dogs as well until that perfect forever home comes along. Everyone in my house is spayed/neutered. I wish I could show/work and breed instead of rescue, but as long as there are homeless Pitties out there, my time, money, devotion is to them.
